Blue Ribbon Eels are the most striking members of the moray family.  They perform a jerky dance, extending from their burrows to catch prey passing by.  As juveniles they are jet black with a yellow dorsal stripe.  As adults, they change to the blue female phase seen here.  Eventually some may change sex and color to bright yellow males.
